Negating Phase Triggers
Spirits and Lightsworns keep activating if their activation is negated.
Say that I control a Light and Darkness Dragon, and you have a Lightsworn monster. If your End Phase, my LaDD negates your Lightsworn. Since the activation was negated, your Lightsworn activates again - and again - and again - until Ladd is too small to negate it.
Activating Phase Triggers
If 2 or more phase-related trigger effects (for example, 2 Lightsworn monsters, or 2 Gladiator Beasts) would activate at the same time, they do not chain to each other.
At the end of the Battle Phase, if 2 of your Gladiator Beasts battled, the second one patiently waits for the first one to resolve completely before you can activate its effect to tag out. If you summoned something like Bestiari with the first Gladiator Beast, Bestiari’s effect to destroy a card will also activate before you can tag out the 2nd Gladiator Beast.
