Changing-Control
Changing Control
You cannot change the battle position of a monster in the turn that -you- summon it. This is different from modern yugioh.
Basic Example:
I activate Call of the Haunted on your turn, Summoning Vorse Raider.
You can activate Brain Control to take my Vorse Raider, and then change it to Defense Position.
This is because you – the player activating Brain Control – didn’t summon the Raider this turn.
Practical Example:
You attack my Super Nimble Mega Hamster, and I use its effect to Special Summon Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter face-down.
In your Main Phase 2, you can activate Mind Control on my Ryko, and then Flip Summon it.
This is because you – the player activating Mind Control – didn’t summon the Ryko this turn.
