Konami immediately reverses course

Fuelled by the anger of all Duelists on the planet, Konami has reversed their decision to enforce only modern rulings at the most recent NAWCQ.

● Master Duel retro events will use modern Master Duel rulings.
● At the OTS level, either rules set may be used.

Konami Changes the Format

Starting at the NAWCQ, modern Game Mechanics & Card Text will be used for Time Wizard Events.

Some of the major changes:
● Goyo Guardian, Rescue Cat, Necrovalley, Brain Control errata.
● Ignition priority changes, affecting eg Substitoad, Judgment Dragon, Dark Grepher.
● Royal Oppression can now stop Treeborn Frog, etc.

Online Format Library events, Really Big Edison Tournaments, and Duelingbook, will not be applying these changes.
